Take your smartphone and join Bit and George on this large-scale adventure that takes place right on this website. No need to download any apps. Your phone will be turned into a personal antenna for Bit as you try to track down Brooklyn’s most notorious hacker, Black Cat. Rumors of their return have been heard in the dark corners of the web and now you will be on the team helping track them down. Bit will lead you throughout Dumbo as you complete ever more difficult tasks and puzzles. Do you have what it takes to help her save the day?
Details
The Grid Hack is an interactive puzzle-based audio play created by Samuel Arencibia starring Olivia St. Peter and Caleb Grochalski. Once purchased, you will receive a link that will give you access to "The Grid Hack" for seven days. To start your adventure, you'll need to head to Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn, NY. The journey is about 1.25 miles and takes about 1.5 hours to complete.
Things to Keep in Mind!
- The experience is about 1.25 miles and takes over an hour to complete
- Wear weather-specific and comfortable clothes to walk in
- Have your phone fully charged. It will be on during the whole adventure.
- Bring headphones or a speaker! Make sure you’re able to hear our hackers on the street of NYC Start during sunlight. This adventure will take you into some New York City parks and they are open dawn to dusk.
- Safety. No one during your adventure will actually be real. Make sure you are aware of your real-world surroundings
- If any puzzle gets too hard you'll be able to skip ahead!

- Unfortunately, you can only play the game if you are in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
